Genocide Prevention and Combating Hate Speech

The Post-Conflict Research Center had the honor of attending a very important meeting with UN Under-Secretary-General, UN Secretary-General’s Special Adviser on Genocide Prevention and Combating Hate Speech (United Nations), Alice Wairimu Nderit, United Nations Resident Coordinator in BiH (United Nations in BiH), Ingrid Macdonald, and the Head of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina (OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina), Kathleen Kavalec.

In order to highlight the issues of hate speech, genocide denial, and glorification of war criminals in BiH, Ms. Nderitu organized the meeting during her visit to our country, which brought together representatives of civil society and the NGO sector working on building peace, trust and constructive dialogue. Ms. Nderitu stressed the importance of protecting and supporting the role that these organizations have in solving these issues.
