For the 4th year running, PCRC partnered with WARM Foundation in managing, coordinating and co-hosting WARM’s Sarajevo-based activities, including the annual WARM Festival, which took place from June 28 – July 2. During this year’s festival, PCRC showcased Transitions, a collaborative photography exhibition that explores the journeys of transitional justice in four different post-conflict societies. The exhibition opened on Skenderija Steel Bridge, with words from PCRC’s Board President Tanya Domi and renowned photographer Ron Haviv. Alongside the exhibition opening, PCRC organized the Conventional and Unconventional Approaches to Transitional Justice Symposium. Panelists, including PCRC, ART WORKS Projects, Columbia University and BIRN staff, considered how the photos and narratives can make transitional justice more accessible and tangible to international audiences.
