Velma Šarić, our president and founder, was one of the speakers at the program “Encouraging democratic values and active citizenship among young people” organized by Humanity in Action Bosnia and Herzegovina. On this occasion, Velma presented our work with young people, talked about collective memory, dealing with the past and the importance of cultivating a culture of peace through art. Participants had the opportunity to watch one of the films from the award-winning series “Ordinary Heroes”, the story of Zoran and Azra, which promotes empathy, solidarity and dialogue in a post-conflict society.
