Our team traveled to Rwanda for the Aegis Trust conference on ‘Listening and Leading: the Art and Science of Peace, Resilience, and Transformational Justice’. Organized in partnership with the University of Rwanda, Tufts University, and the Minubumwe – Ministry of National Unity and Civic Engagement, the conference spotlighted our work in art for justice and peace as our Founder & President Velma Šarić presented within the event. We also visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial, run by Aegis Trust, which hosts educational exhibitions about the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, as well as the remains of 250,000 genocide victims.
