Our president, Velma Šarić, met with a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Denis Bećirović. In addition to Šarić, the meeting was attended by Dr. Muamer Džananović, a senior research associate at the Institute for Research of Crimes Against Humanity and International Law at the University of Sarajevo, Dr. Hikmet Karčić, a research associate at the Institute for Research of Crimes Against Humanity and International Law at the University of Sarajevo, Dr. Nirha Efendić, a witness of the genocide in Srebrenica, and Murat Tahirović, the president of the “Association of Genocide Victims and Witnesses.” During the meeting, various activities related to the memorialization of genocide were discussed, with a particular emphasis on scientific research and the publication of works on genocide.
