Our President and Founder, Velma Saric visited Rwanda for a series of events with the UN Office of the Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide, Aegis Trust, and the UN International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals at the Kigali Memorial.
Velma participated in the workshop on “Promoting Dialogue and Mediation to Prevent Genocide” and the conference on “Ethnicity and Genocide: Policy Guidance for Prevention.” Workshop`s participants honoured the victims of the genocide against the Tutsi and learnt more on the causes, reality and consequences of this crime.
