In November, PCRC took part in the virtual international symposium hosted by the Genocide Studies Program at Yale MacMillan Center and the Southern Connecticut State University. Titled ”Bosnia: 25 Years After the Dayton Accords”, the symposium hosted panel discussions with distinguished members of our Advisory Board, including our Board President Tanya L. Domi, members Janine di Giovanni, David Simon and David Pettigrew as well as our President Velma Šarić. During the first panel session, Šarić, alongside photographer Chris Leslie, talked about our work and the ongoing visual arts project A Balkan Journey. The project is a collection of artistic works by Leslie from towns and cities of post-conflict Former Yugoslavia and contains a previously unseen 24-year archive from the region.
