The Srebrenica genocide commemoration in Sweden was marked this year with a focus on the importance of a culture of remembrance through the work of different institutions. On the occasion of marking the 26th anniversary of the genocide, our President Velma Saric participated in the panel discussion “Culture of remembrance of the genocide in Srebrenica through institutions” and with other panelists, Hasan Hasanović, Amra Begić (Srebrenica Memorial Center) and Ena Bavčić (Civil Rights Defenders), honored the victims and their families. The panel was organized by a committee composed of representatives of Bosnian associations and organizations in Sweden.
