Hosting a consultative meeting between civil society organizations and representatives of the United Nations Office for the Prevention of Genocide, we brought together representatives of TRIAL International in Bosnia and Herzegovina, UDIK, Pro Peace BiH, the Center for Investigative Reporting (CIN), and La Benevolencija. We discussed current challenges in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, with a particular focus on the denial of genocide and war crimes and the glorification of war criminals.
This meeting encouraged future cooperation within the Western Balkans Coalition for Genocide and Mass Atrocity Prevention.
