PCRC’s President Velma Saric participated as a special guest during a virtual roundtable discussion, organized by Global Peace Champions, to validate a policy paper for UNSCR 1325 on Women, Peace, and Security.
Together with Gerald Acho (Arigatou International), Susan Owiro Chege (Partnership for Peace and Security), Rachel Wainaina (Youth Film Platform Africa, Film Village of Kenya), Velma discussed the policy paper to identify key gaps and share opinions on how best participants can use such a document as a tool for advocacy purposes.
