We recently hosted a new group of activists from the Hafıza Merkezi organisation and their program dedicated to truth, justice, and memory, during a study visit to BiH.
The group took a guided tour of Sarajevo, learning about the city’s history, and visited both the Srebrenica Memorial Center and War Childhood Museum. After a screening of our film “Kapija ’95”, the group attended a session with our president and founder Velma Šarić, where they discussed challenges of inclusive remembrance, the importance of peace education in formal educational settings, and the roles of women in peacebuilding.
