The City of Sarajevo, the Post-Conflict Research Center, and the Movement of the Mothers of Srebrenica and Žepa Enclaves brought together experts, institutions, and young people for a conference on dealing with the past, justice, and reconciliation. Through three panels, important topics were opened on prosecuting war crimes, fighting denial, the role of education, and the future of civil society in peacebuilding. We thank all speakers and moderators, including Velma Šarić, Graciela Gatti Santana, Serge Brammertz, Christian Schmidt, Bekim Blakaj, Vesna Teršelič, Sofija Todorović, Daliborka Uljarević, Dževada Garić, Vladimir Andrle, Ingrid Macdonald, Luigi Soreca, Brian Aggeler, and many others. The conference was symbolically linked to global efforts through a live connection with the commemoration at the UN Headquarters in New York.
