PCRC took part in the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia’s (ICTY) Legacy Dialogues Conference 2017 and, additionally, organized a side event, ‘Restoring a Culture of Peace: PCRC’s multifaceted approach to historical memory and transitional justice.’ During this side event, which brought together PCRC staff, legal experts, activists, government officials, and civil society leaders, we discussed PCRC’s peacebuilding programs and their role within the wider transitional justice landscape in the region, panelists and audience members explored the social, economic, and political challenges and solutions to building a sustainable peace.
