New Zealand artist Nour Hassan opened the “Majke/Mothers” exhibition at Sarajevo City Hall to mark the 30th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide. The exhibition features 25 portraits of Srebrenica mothers—women who have bravely fought for truth, remembrance, and dignity. Hassan emphasized that remembrance is an act of responsibility and a path toward a better future. Speakers at the opening included Predrag Puharić, Mirela Bećirović, Kathrine Biering, Dr. Fatima Klempić Dautbašić, Velma Šarić, and Tiffany Fairey.
