This August, PCRC welcomed the inaugural cohort of the McCain Institute’s Ukrainian Leaders Fellowship to Sarajevo for a week-long workshop and field visits marking the start of an important new partnership. Together with the McCain Institute, we brought eight Ukrainian leaders to BiH to learn directly from our country’s own experience of post-war recovery and reconstruction – lessons that speak directly to the questions Ukraine is grappling with as it looks toward its future beyond Russia’s war of aggression. We were honored to partner with the McCain Institute on this fellowship and to host this first cohort in Sarajevo. As Ukraine marks 35 years of independence, we are grateful to be part of its journey forward.
