Our Amina Sejfić participated in the Fifth Symposium Media For Peace, which was dedicated to digital peacebuilding. Amina contributed to a panel discussion on how to move from mere digital connectivity to real social cohesion. Along with Amina, the panel included Madeline Wiedemann (The What If), Zoran Gavrilović (Bureau of Social Research) and Darko Brkan (Why Not), with the discussion moderated by Dr. Judith Pies.
The discussion highlighted the importance of responsible use of digital platforms and art as tools for building trust in post-conflict communities. Panelists emphasized that the mere availability of technology is not enough, but that it is crucial to develop digital spaces that encourage dialogue, empathy and critical thinking. Amina particularly highlighted our work in the field of peace education through the creation of multimedia content.
