PCRC’s Velma Šarić and Tatjana Milovanović took part in the “Reconciliation in the Western Balkans” conference, organized by Aspen Institute Germany. As a stakeholder in the Berlin Process, PCRC joined experts and decision-makers to explore reconciliation within the framework of EU enlargement, transitional justice, and remembrance. Our recommendations included stronger support for de-segregation of schooling, more regional CSO cooperation, and direct approaches to dealing with the past as part of the EU accession processes for Western Balkan countries.
