ŠTO TE NEMA is a monument to the 8,372 people killed during the 1995 Srebrenica Genocide. For the 25th anniversary of the Srebrenica Genocide, PCRC supported artist Aida Šehović in staging the final public presentation of the monument and installing it in the Srebrenica Memorial Center’s permanent collection. The monument’s presentation was organized alongside other commemoration events at the burial site of the victims on July 10th and 11th. In addition to supporting the monument’s installation, PCRC also helped the artist collect fildžani cup donations in order to reach a total of 8,372 cups, one for each victim of the Srebrenica Genocide. Our outreach gained significant attention and support, and the final number of cups exhibited at the Memorial Center came close to 10,000.
PCRC will continue to support the ŠTO TE NEMA team by helping produce the Where have you been? documentary film, with our Founder and President, Velma Šarić, as the local producer.
