Following the integration of our educational manual “Holocaust and Peace – Lessons from the Past for the Future” in official school system in Canton Sarajevo, on January 29, we held our first training for 30 teachers and educators from Bosnia-Podrinje Canton. The training was done in cooperation with Pro Peace BiH, Educators’ Institute for Human Rights (EIHR), Jewish Community in BiH and with the support of the Government of Goražde. This manual allows teachers and educators across the region to include, in their curriculum, the study of the Holocaust, moral and civil courage, peace and intercultural education, and the role of the individual in effecting positive change.
