The Western Balkans Peace Forum in Podgorica, Montenegro, was organized by the Post-Conflict Research Center and the Center for Democracy and Human Rights to open a conversation on the prevention of identity-based violence, democratic resilience and transitional justice. With representatives of over 25 organizations, discussions focused on dealing with the past, education, security in the EU context, and the Forum aimed to strengthen regional cooperation among civil society actors, but also to link peacebuilding with EU integration and democratic resilience.
