
Our Founder and President, Velma Šarić, participated in the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) Forum in Prishtina, an initiative organized by H.E. Dr. Vjosa Osmani Sadriu, President of the Republic of Kosovo.
Velma spoke on two panel sessions alongside prominent leaders including Kosovo Assembly’s Saranda Bogujevci, Women’s Federation for World Peace International, UN Office’s Moriko Hori, Kosova Women’s Network’s Igballe Rogova, European Council on Foreign Affairs’ Engjellushe Morina, European Union Force in Bosnia and Herzegovina‘s Nikolina Marceta, consultant Jeta Krasniqi, UN Women Kosovo’s Vlora Tuzi Nushi, NDI Kosovo’s Pranvera Lipovica, and Mayor Arianit Besiri. She emphasized the vital importance of women’s meaningful inclusion in decision-making, particularly in the Western Balkans, and shared PCRC’s work engaging young people in peacebuilding and reconciliation.
The forum brought together key representatives from civil society, international organizations, and political institutions to foster dialogue and cooperation for lasting peace.
