Erna Mačkić

Erna is a graduate in political science and holds a master’s degree in international law. She began her journalism career in 2003 at Dnevni list, covering political, economic, and social issues. In 2007, she joined the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BIRN BiH), where she has focused extensively on judicial institutions and transitional justice.
In addition to her journalistic work, Erna is an experienced trainer, specializing in war crimes reporting and promoting transparency within the judiciary. At PCRC, she guides the work of youth correspondents and coordinates research projects related to transitional justice, helping to foster a new generation of socially engaged researchers and storytellers.
