Date of Implementation: August 2017 – ongoing
Partners: Give Something Back to Berlin
Supported by: BMW Group and United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC)
Primary Objective: To present stories and experiences of integration of migrants and refugees in the German society

Following the war in 1992-1995 over 2 million people from Bosnia were displaced from their home country. One of the largest settlements of Bosnians outside of Bosnia and Herzegovina can be found in Germany. This project is focused on compiling and presenting stories that explore various facets of Bosnian migration to Germany and to present the personal accounts of migrants and their children in an effort to not only reflect on the shared experiences of Bosnian migrants but to also consider the wider themes and implications of their stories.

This partnership was developed through the Intercultural Innovation Award Alumni Network – a partnership between UNAOC and BMW Group.
