Participants from the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) Fellowship Program visited Sarajevo – the third stop on their agenda following visits to Morocco and Qatar. This Fellowship was first conducted in 2010 with the aim to foster intercultural exchange and interfaith trust in Europe and around the world. As the 1st place winner of the 2014/15 Intercultural Innovation Award given by the UNAOC and the BMW Group, it was decided that PCRC and its work should be incorporated into the fellows’ BiH program. During the visit, PCRC organized two panel sessions: one which focused on the work of the non-governmental sector in the area of interfaith cooperation, and another that focused on moral courage and its importance for reconciliation in post-conflict societies.
