The Love Tales project is a multimedia, artistic initiative aimed at challenging the common narrative that real connections between Bosnia’s different ethnic groups are unattainable by documenting stories of successful interethnic relationships across the country and thus contributing to a more inclusive and shared understanding of the country’s past and future.

The Love Tales exhibition was set up in the History Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina to mark the International Day of Peace 2022. The exhibition focuses on 10 multi-ethnic couples from BiH and presents their life stories, which were recorded by youth correspondents from PCRC’s multimedia platform Balkan Diskurs. The photography in the exhibition is the works of Mitar Simikić and Armin Durgut, and its launch was organized within the Manifesta 14 Western Balkans Project.
