Primary Objective: To improve the understanding of the current challenges to peace and security on the European continent and beyond.

Peace Research Community Europe (PEACE) is a COST Action led by the Flemish Peace Institute that brings together a trans-European and interdisciplinary research community focused on Peace Studies. The initiative aims to enhance the comprehension of the current challenges to peace and security on the European continent and beyond. By fostering and strengthening a network of peace and conflict research centres and scholars across Europe, this COST Action seeks to stimulate new research, policy development, and practical applications. The key focus areas include Peace & Climate, Feminist Peace, Peace & Emerging Technologies, Local Peace, and establishing a novel Peace and Security Architecture in Europe. Furthermore, the network will support the next generation of peace and conflict researchers as they advance in their careers.

PEACE kick-off conference is happening this May in Brussels. To join, visit here.
