Partners: University of Durham, Youth Association ‘Inicijativa’ Vareš

PCRC has partnered with the University of Durham and researcher Dr. Louis Monroy to produce a short documentary film about the impact of post-war “capitalism” in BiH. Set in the Bosnian town of Vareš, the film explores the political and economic hardships that have emerged as a result of the destruction of the town’s mining industry and the dissolution of its civic unity. It provides an intimate tour of Vareš while showcasing the consequences of war and the impact of corrupt privatization practices. The film is currently in post-production and its completion is expected in May 2019.
